Day 2 : AMMAN / LES CHATEAUX DU DESERT / AMMAN
After breakfast, departure towards the desert for the visit of the Desert Castles: Qasr Amra, Qasr Al Kharaneh, Qasr Al Hallabet, hunting lodges with various architectural styles, which were built by the Umayyad caliphs of Damascus in the 7th century. Return to Amman; visit to the citadel of Jabal al-Qala on top of an L-shaped hill; it is one of the seven Jabal (mountains) which formed the ancient city. The citadel is the first place to go for the panorama of the city, its hills and its countless mosques. Visit of the Old Town with its Roman theater dating from the 2nd century and which can accommodate up to 6,000 people. Visit of the Jordan Museum*, the largest museum in Jordan. It contains the great archaeological discoveries of the country. Dinner at Tawaheen Alhoa, a restored former caravanserai that has become a meeting place for Jordanian families. Night in Amman.

Day 3 : AMMAN / JARASH / AJLOUN / UM QAIS / AMMAN
Departure to visit the splendidly preserved Greco-Roman city of Jarash. Jarash is one of the most important and best preserved Roman city of the Decapolis. It is also known as the Pompeii of the east. Drive through the pine forests and olive groves until the fortress of Ajloun, known as Qa'lat Al Rabaht. Overlooking the Jordan Valley it was built in 1184 by Izz Al-Din Usama, a general in the army of Saladin. The castle controlled traffic along the road connecting Damascus and Egypt. Drive to Um Qais. Historically known as Gadara, Um Qais is one of Jordan's most unique Greco-Roman Decapolis sites. Tucked away in the black basalt hillside, at a height of 378 meters above sea level, Um Qais offers an incomparable panoramic view over the northern Jordan valley, the Sea of Galilee (Lake Tiberius), the Yarmouk Gorge and the Golan Heights. On a clear day, snow topped Mount Hermon is visible. Drive to Amman. Dinner and night in Amman.

Day 4 : AMMAN / AL SALT / BETHANY / DEAD SEA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the Royal Automobile Museum (collection of antique royal cars) in Amman. After the visit, drive to the Jordan Valley. Stopover to visit Al Salt, the former capital of Jordan. Its small houses and authentic architecture will make this visit a very pleasant and enriching experience. Departure for Bethany, place of baptism of Christ, unique site in the world on the banks of the Jordan river. Departure for the Dead Sea, the lowest point in the world (- 432 meters), its water is unique thanks to a high concentration of salt and minerals. Free time to swim and relax. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 5 : DEAD SEA / MONT NEBO / MADABA / MA'IN
Departure in the morning, after breakfast, for the King's Way. Visit of Mount Nebo which offers a spectacular view of the Holy Land. Here you will find the memorial of Moses and the place from which he allegedly discovered the Holy Land. Then, visit of Madaba, "the city of mosaics", known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, this city houses the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land dating from the 6th century. With its two million pieces carved from colorful local stones, this map represents the hills, valleys, towns and villages of the region as far as the Nile Delta. Other mosaic masterpieces have been found in the Church of the Virgin and Apostles and in the Archaeological Park and Museum, depicting a whole profusion of flowers and plants, birds, fish and animals, as well as scenes inspired by mythology or daily activities related to hunting, fishing and farming. There are hundreds of other mosaics dated between the 5th and 7th centuries scattered throughout the churches and homes of Madaba. To better understand this art, visit of the Madaba mosaic school, a unique school of its kind in the Middle East, it trains craftsmen in the art of making, repairing and restoring mosaics. Drive to Ma'in Hot Springs, Jordan's most famous hyperthermic waterfalls (Hammamet Ma'in) and free time to admire the beauty of this oasis in the desert. Dinner and night in Ma’in.

Day 6 : MA'IN / MUJIB CANYON / KERAK / DANA
Breakfast and departure for the Mujib Canyon*: Aquatic hike (duration: more or less 3 hours). You will start in the refreshing waters of the Wadi Mujib canyon where the emerald basins are passing through immense red rock walls. Then, drive to visit Kerak castle, built by the Crusaders in the 12th century. At the end of the afternoon departure for the Dana biosphere reserve. Dinner and night in Dana.

Day 7 : DANA / SHOBAK / LITTLE PETRA / PETRA
Breakfast and departure with your Bedouin guide for Shaq Al Reesh (trail - approximately 3h30-4h), a very beautiful hike in the heart of the Wadi Dana gorges. Then, departure by car for the Crusader castle of Shobak. After the visit of this castle from the time of the Crusades, drive to visit Little Petra (a miniature replica of the "Pink City" of Petra). Dinner and night in Petra.

Day 8 & Day 9: PETRA
Two whole days dedicated to visiting the "Pink City" of Petra, one of the great wonders built by man and nature. The city is one of the treasures of the Middle East, it was carved in stone by the Nabataeans 2,600 years ago. Visit of the site: the Treasury (the Khazneh), the theater, the royal tombs, the High Place, the lower town, the Deir ... Dinner and night in Petra.

Day 10 : PETRA / WADI RUM
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the desert of Wadi Rum (about 1h30 drive). Upon arrival in Wadi Rum, you will be welcomed by your Bedouin guide. After getting to know each other, departure on foot with your guide. It was in these fantastic landscapes that Lawrence of Arabia and his Bedouin allies repulsed the Turkish occupier. One of the most beautiful deserts in the world, it offers breathtaking and constantly changing views. We will pass through Siq Albarrah and its canyon in order to quietly appreciate the landscapes of this desert of sand and rock. At the end of the day, admire the magnificent colors of the dunes at sunset! Dinner and night at the camp.

Day 11 : WADI RUM (SIQ ALBARRAH / BURDAH)
For this second day in the desert, we go south to the mountain of Jebel Burdah and its monumental arch: this rocky bridge is considered one of the tallest natural arches in the world. Ascent of the djebel (about 3h30 round trip) to the arch. On the way back down, well-deserved tea and cookies will be waiting for you. In the afternoon 2 to 3 hours of walking to reach the camp. Installation of the camp away from the tourist bustle.

Day 12: WADI RUM (BURDAH / WADI UM ISHREEN / ANFASHIEH / ALDISI)
Morning hike through the dunes of Um Sabatah. This 3rd day in the Wadi Rum desert continues via Wadi Um Ishreen and the inscriptions of Anfashieh mountain. This mountain is famous for its ancient inscriptions, which are remarkably well preserved. Anfashieh has many thamudic and Nabatean inscriptions of animals, most likely left by the freight caravans on their way to Petra. Dinner and night at the camp.
