Tour Plan
Arrival at Amman airport, meet and assist by our representative for customs and other formalities. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we begin our journey south along the historic King's Highway, a route steeped in history. Our first stop is Madaba, known as the "City of Mosaics." Here, we'll visit the Orthodox Church of St. George to see the intricate 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land, the oldest of its kind. We'll then continue to Mount Nebo, the revered site where Moses is said to have viewed the Holy Land. From here, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. The site also features a beautifully preserved Byzantine church with stunning mosaics. Following lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our drive south to the majestic Shobak Castle, a Crusader fortress built by King Baldwin I in 1115 to control trade routes. This formidable stronghold successfully resisted many attacks before falling to Saladin's forces in 1189. Our final stop is the secluded site of Little Petra. We will enjoy a pleasant walk through the Siq al-Barid ("the cold canyon") to enter Little Petra, once a bustling Nabataean trade hub. Here, you'll discover remarkable rock-cut facades and a rare 1st-century fresco adorned with grapevines, birds, and cherubs. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Petra.

Today you will uncover the secrets of Petra, the magnificent "rose-red city" carved into the sandstone mountains by the ancient Nabataeans. Your tour begins with a guided exploration from the main entrance. You'll walk through the breathtaking Siq, a narrow gorge that dramatically reveals the iconic Treasury. Your guide will then lead you to other key monuments, including the Roman Theater and the impressive Qasr al Bint. Before a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, your guide will provide directions for the hike up the 800 steps to the famous Monastery, after which you'll have free time to explore the site at your own pace. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Petra.

After breakfast, our journey takes us south to the majestic desert of Wadi Rum, often called the "Valley of the Moon" for its otherworldly, moon-like landscapes. This spectacular wilderness has captivated filmmakers for decades, serving as the backdrop for iconic movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Martian, and Dune. We'll explore this stunning desert on a thrilling two-hour 4x4 Jeep tour, traversing vast red sands and monumental rock formations. After a local lunch, we'll drive back to Amman along the Desert Highway. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in the capital.
