Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport Amman (QAIA), our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Amman for check-in.

Your first discovery of Jordan will be the Desert Castles in the eastern desert: Qasr Al Kharraneh, Qasr Amra, and Qasr Al-Azraq, built in the 8th century by the Umayyad Caliphs as hunting lodges. These castles showcase a variety of architectural styles. Around midday you will return to Amman and visit the Roman Theater, Citadel, and Jordan Museum, where you can admire stories and artifacts from Jordan’s past. In downtown you can immerse yourself in the colorful vegetable and fruit market, ‘souk al khodra’. The produce vendors shout the names of the tomatoes, cucumber and other delicacies to attract the customers. Enjoy your dinner in Tawaheen Alhawa, an old, restored caravanserai with a local Jordanian ambiance.

- Optional experience: Before going back to Amman enjoy the lunch with the local community of Druze. A small community in the east of Jordan.
Visit the remarkable Roman city of Jerash, known as the Pompeii of the East. It’s one of the ten Roman cities of the Decapolis league. It flourished under Roman rule as you can see by the well-preserved Roman architecture, including colonnaded streets, temples, theaters, and a forum. Continue to Ajloun Castle, built in 1184 to control trade routes between Damascus and Egypt. Then all the way north to visit Um Qais, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and Lake Tiberias. We head back to Amman for your last night in the capital of Jordan.

Our suggestion: In stead of Um Qais, visit the old capital of Jordan As Salt. Stroll along the market street down town and have a little stop at the Al Khader church. One of the oldest churches of Jordan, built in 1682.
Begin your day with a visit to Bethany, the site on the eastern side of the Jordan River where John the Baptist is believed to have baptized Jesus. Afterward, you'll transfer to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Spend the rest of your day by relaxing and floating effortlessly in the salty, therapeutic waters a.

Discover Madaba, the "City of Mosaics". Marvel at the famous mosaic map of Jerusalem in the St George Church. Stand where Moses once stood at Mount Nebo, taking in the panoramic views of the Promised Land. Continue south to visit the impressive Kerak Castle, a 12th-century Crusader fortress, before ending your day in Dana to witness a breathtaking sunset over the mountains.

Start your day with a guided hike on the Shaq al Reesh trail in the stunning Dana Biosphere Reserve. This 2-3 hour moderate trek is the perfect way to explore the reserve's beauty. On your way to Little Petra, stop at the magnificent Shobak Castle, a crusader fortress perched on a mountaintop. From there, you'll travel to Little Petra, a fascinating site filled with ancient tombs, temples, and a first century fresco. A perfect introduction before your full day in Petra tomorrow. Finally, arrive at Villa Maria Lodge where you can relax and unwind with a swim. Your day concludes with a delicious dinner prepared by local villagers, giving you a true taste of Jordanian hospitality.

Spend two full days exploring Petra, the ancient city carved into rose-red sandstone. This UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the world's most unique archaeological sites. For your first day discovery of Petra you will start from the Visitor Centre. Going through the Siq, the 1200 meter gorge, bringing you to the jewel of Petra, the Treasury. Your guide will continue with you along the Street of Facades. Then the Theater, carved out of the rocks. After the Royal tombs he will take you alog the Colonnaded street where you will discover the Great Temple and Qasr al Bint. From here you have free time to explore more of Petra. The guide will show you the way to hike up to the Monastery, the tallest facade in Petra. At the end of your Petra visit you will go to Villa Maria Lodge.

- Optional experience: Petra by Night. A magical evening where the Siq and Treasury are illuminated by thousands of candles. (Sunday to Thursday).
For your second day you will discover Petra off the beaten track via the Al Madras trail. A guide will lead you along this trail to the High Place of Sacrifice. You will enjoy the panorama over the lower city of Petra and the surrounding mountains. From there, you'll descend through Wadi Farasa, discovering hidden gems like the Lion's Fountain, the Garden Temple, and the Soldier's Tomb. Then you have free time to visit the Urn Tomb, Silk tomb, Corinthian Tomb and the Palace Tomb. Together called the Royal Tombs. You could even visit the Sixtius Florentius tomb before you head to the Byzantine Church. To admire the 5th and 6th century mosaics depicting the seasons and nature. After a full day of exploration you return to Villa Maria Lodge where you can unwind in the pool.

Leave in the morning from Wadi Musa to Wadi Rum, a stunning desert landscape of sandstone mountains and red sand dunes. On arrival you will be welcommed by a local Bedouin who will take you for a 3 hour, 4x4 jeep tour. There are stops to see the Anfashieh inscriptions, the remains of Lawrence house where you can enjoy the nice scenery. In Khasali Canyon there are more inscriptions to see. Followed by a visit to the small rock arch. After lunch you'll do a 2 to 3 hour hike to enjoy the silence and the views of the desert landscape. Sunset and dinner at the camp.

This second day in the Valley of the Moon we take you more south. Be surprised by the dramatic rock formations in the Barrah Canyon. Have a look at the most high rock arch in the world, Burdah Bridge. If you like you can make it all the way up to the bridge! It's a mix of scrambling and climbing. Hike up Jebel Hash mountain for breathtaking views, then explore the valley of Nuqra with its ochre dunes. End the day with a traditional Bedouin dinner in the camp.

After saying goodbye to the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, you'll travel south to the coastal city of Aqaba. Settle into this charming Red Sea town, where you can relax by the crystal-clear waters or explore the vibrant coral reefs.

Enjoy the morning in Aqaba before driving north again in the afternoon for your last night in Jordan, in the city of Mosaics. You can do some souvenir shopping in the centre of Madaba, visit the Apostles Church and the Church of St John the Baptist. Or see some more mosaics in the Church of the Virgin Mary.

Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) for your departure.
Our suggestion: If you have time before your departure from QAIA, you could add a visit to the historic city of As-Salt, Jordan's old capital. Wander through the bustling downtown market before visiting the Al-Khader Church, a significant landmark built in 1682.
